For almost the last month, early adopters of the 3DS have been waiting with bated breath for the announcement of the last five NES titles to be released on September 1 st. Well the wait is over! Earlier this morning, Nintendo of America announced that the following five games will become available to all those who registered in the 3DS Ambassador Program:

  • Metroid
  • NES Open Tournament Golf
  • Wrecking Crew
  • Zelda II –The Adventure of Link
  • Yoshi

If you don’t remember or haven’t heard of that last one, don’t worry, neither have most people. Yoshi was the American port of the Japanese puzzle game Yoshi’s Egg, one of the unfortunate me-too puzzle games trying to cash in on the immense popularity of Tetris. These five titles will be added to the list of titles below which have already announced:

  • Super Mario Bros.
  • Donkey Kong Jr
  • Balloon Fight
  • Ice Climber
  • The Legend of Zelda
