So many times in so many categories of the entertainment world a number of “experts” or judges get together and tell us the fans what was the best game. It is an interesting concept, we work hard at our jobs, spend our money on games that we feel we will find most entertaining. We find some games that are as advertised, we find a number more that are not as good as expected, and some times we find that gem which was not on the radar, but is a pleasure to play. The judges however usually don’t have to spend a penny, browse through what they feel we will enjoy, and award the games, publishers and developers with awards based on these assumptions.
Originated in 1982 making this year the 29th annual award ceremony, you the fan have the ability to vote on 14 different categories. In 2010 there was over 1.5 million votes logged, and now as social media’s pick up and spread you have to think the number will only increase.
If you click on the link below, and vote on all the categories, you also have the chance to win prizes which include Consoles, Peripherals, and games.
The ceremony takes place on the date of October 21st, so hurry up and get your votes in, and be a part of the community by sharing your thoughts.
