The Sims 3 Pets (pre-order)

K9 and feline alike add to the perfect home..

For generations we the people have looked at things surrounding ourselves and thought, “how would I do that differently”.  The great thing is that with technology evolving the world of the simulators are possible to have in every house hold and you can see would your changes make things better… or worse.

In 1989 we were given Sim City, and between the basics of Residential, Commercial and Industrial we solved issues like traffic, taxes and of course among so many others, Godzilla attacks.  Now the very first version of Sim City was developed on the Commadore 64, so needless to say the attention to visual detail was not there just yet.  Now we are over 20 years advanced and what more can we do with simulators?  Well we have gone from the over view of the city and brought it down to the specific house and family.

The Sims, a chance for you to now build a family that is either the one you wish you had, or one that you can use to question, how would my life be different.  Now although this game is truly that, a game, it does give many a sense of fulfillment.  In this simulated world, you can build your massive house, set separate theme rooms, build the home entertainment unit like you always dreamed of and now, you bring home man’s best friend.

How many people have wanted to have the kitty cat sitting on their bed, a dog to run in the yard with, or have your very own horse?  Well now you can.  With the Sims 3 Pets expansion you can have birds, lizards, turtles, dogs, cats snakes and more.  If you have ever wondered what is going on in the mind of your pets, you can control them now and cause a riot in the house, or be the perfect peaceful and playful companion.  As this is a simulator, your individual pets will not all act the same either.  Be it friendly, skittish, fast, agile, gentle or simple clueless each of your animals will certainly be individuals.

There is also a Limited Edition for the consoles (PS3, Wii, 36) with this release in which you will have a pet store filled with one of a kind items and 10 exclusive unique breeds.

So if mom and dad don’t want the clean up and noise, your land lord is afraid of furniture damage, you have allergies, now you can put all that behind you and pre-order your copy of The Sims 3 Pets, coming to your favourite gaming system in October.
