Gears of War Big Head Mode Weekend

Have you picked up a copy of Gears of War 3?  Did you play the previous runs of the game?  If you have then you will notice that the action is not only smoother with more options, but it is much faster.  This of course makes sense, as with technology getting better and faster, the experience improves.  Now if you play a LOT of XBOX or you are just a natural, then head shots are not something that concern you and every target is like something out of a Mike Meyers movie, a big orange on a toothpick.

If you are like me, while taking in all the backgrounds, characters, and trying to remember if you are Locust or COG, well then you can use all the  help available.  Fear not, cause EPIC Games has you hooked up this weekend.  The fun and excitement ends at midnight Sunday, so get in and go online with BIG HEAD MODE!

That’s right, like the days of NBA JAM, Hockey 3 on 3 and so many others, picture all your friends and enemies with a head 4 times the normal size, and a voice like that of Alvin and the Chipmunks.  It does not take away from the game play, just merely add’s a distraction, so when you hear things like “RE-LOADING” from Marcus as if he just took a huff of helium from a child’s birthday balloon, you cannot help but giggle before you split their ribs in half with your lancer.

So if your home for the weekend, have your GOW3 disk kicking about, and need a good laugh while picking up some achievements and awards, jump on BIG HEAD MODE, and get some grubs.
